Welcome to the Oklahoma Dispatch!
This blog has been put together by a few folks here at the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department to help expose a side of Oklahoma you may have never thought about before. The OTRD works hard to help promote Oklahoma, but there's lots to cover and sometimes the things we locals know and love about this state get left out of the regular promotional circuit of big name and family friendly tourists destinations.
So here's our humble labor of love for you to enjoy. We'll be exploring everything we can think of from the best bars to our favorite state parks, the best places to dig for records, cool places to eat, road trip ideas, and we'll even cover some of the kitschy and bizarre sights to behold in the Sooner State.
